Joëlle Lamport - Lewis
Executive Director
Joëlle brings a wealth of experience in non-profit leadership, strategic planning, and advocacy, making them an ideal fit to lead NACY in its mission to enhance the well-being of children and youth across Canada.
Joëlle's extensive background in the nonprofit charitable sector, combined with her experiences in the child and youth sector, particularly in areas such as child welfare, justice, and well-being, makes her a valuable asset. Her work with a national youth-serving organization has honed her exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills, which will be invaluable to NACY's growth and sustainability.
As the new Executive Director, Joëlle will be focusing on strengthening NACY's internal capacity, advocating for urgent priorities in the children and youth sector, and enhancing collaboration among member organizations. Our member’s commitment to using evidence-based approaches and building strong relationships with stakeholders will be instrumental in advancing NACY's objectives.

Parul Yadav
Communications Coordinator
Parul is a first-generation enthusiastic media and communications professional and an alumnus of the Professional Writing and Communications from Humber College. She is passionate about advocacy and has led campaigns on policy initiatives and contributed to both internal and external communication strategies.
Parul is also an advocate for housing affordability and youth development and currently serves as a Board of Director for her neighborhood’s community health centre, LAMP Community Health Centre
During her postgraduate education, Parul was a Board Director at IGNITE, fostering equity, access, and inclusion for newcomer students.
Parul loves working in the sector because she believes in the transformative power of effective communication strategies to inspire and empower the next generation. She hopes to create transparent dialogues to accelerate youth in leadership spaces.
