REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!

Join NACY for the Inaugural Connecting the Sector Conference, as we come together to share what we have learned over the past two years.

After two years apart, the children and youth sector is coming together to celebrate our successes and share the lessons we have learned as we continue to strive to create opportunities to our communities youngest citizens. We know that for many of you, the 2022 NACY conference will be the first opportunity since 2020 to gather in-person as a sector. For us, this means putting an emphasis on networking, share stories and learning from one another. The conference will feature a series of keynote speakers and plenaries, formal training opportunities, an inclusion room and small group breakouts sessions.

In order for folks who are not able to attend the conference in person, Keynote and Plenary sessions will be made available for live streaming. Registration will be available for online activities in March 2022.

In order to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and do our part in keeping our communities safe, the National Alliance for Children and Youth: Connecting the Sector Conference is implementing the following protocols for conference attendees, presenters and guests.

 COVID-19 Policy and Protocols

Daily COVID-19 Screening

Upon arriving at the conference each day, all attendees (including presenters and guests) are required to check in at the COVID-19 Screening Table where a NACY team member will walk through a set of screening questions and sign you in for the day.

Rapid Testing Available on Site

Free Rapid Tests are available at the Registration Desk, we encourage all participants to pick up a set and test each day of the conference. Should you test positive for COVID-19, you will be unable to attend the conference and will be required to follow provincial guidelines for isolation. We will happily refund your registration fee. Rapid Tests can be picked up at the Registration Desk beginning at 9:30AM Monday April 4th for those staying at the hotel. General Registration will begin at 11:00AM and Rapid Tests will be available at that time as well.

Masking

We are kindly requesting that conference attendees wear masks at all times when not eating or drinking. Exceptions are made for presenters where physical distancing is possible. Masks are available at the registration desk and in the Inclusion Room (Spadina B).
