Center for the Study of Social Policy The Center for the Study of Social Policy was established in 1979 with the goal of providing public policy analysis and technical assistance in a way that blended high academic standards with direct responsiveness to the needs of policymakers and practitioners. The Center’s work is concentrated in the areas of family and children’s services; income supports, neighborhood- based services, education reform, family support, disability and health care policy, and long term care for the elderly.
